Toddler 1
18-24 months
In the toddler rooms the schedule shifts to more of a center-based schedule. Morning snack is served at 9, lunch is served at 12 and afternoon snack is served at 3. Diapers are changed every two hours unless otherwise instructed by parents. Each toddler room has a fully equipped bathroom to help with each child’s potty-training needs. Each teacher develops a classroom schedule that incorporates circle time, reading, art, cognitive and physical development. Classrooms schedules are posted in each classroom and followed daily. If any changes are made to the schedules, the teachers let parents know via the tadpoles app. Our toddler rooms develop weekly lesson plans using the Creative Curriculum that align with the current state standards and Step Up to Quality expectations. Ratio in the toddler rooms is 1 teacher to 7 children or 2 teachers to 14.
Toddlers 2
24-30 months
In the toddler two room at Love’s Learning Loft, you will find toddlers ages 2 years to 2.5 years. In the toddler rooms the schedule shifts to more of a center-based schedule. Classrooms schedules are posted in each classroom and followed daily. If any changes are made to the schedules, the teachers let parents know via the tadpoles app. Our toddler rooms develop weekly lesson plans using the Creative Curriculum that align with the current state standards and Step Up to Quality expectations. Ratio in the oldest toddler room is 1 teacher to 7 children or 2 teachers to 14 children, unless all children are 2.5 years old then ratio increases 2 teachers to 16 children.
